Built in 1794 for the Duke of Bedford this elegant hotel stands in the heart of Bedford overlooking the river Ouse. The carefully designed public areas and the attentive staff provide guests with intimate surroundings and a warm friendly atmosphere. Ideally situated for visiting the historic sites in and around Bedford. We would like to advise you that the hotel lift will not be operational due to maintenance from Monday 8th January to Saturday 3rd February 2007. For this duration we are unable to accept reservations from wheelchair bound Disabled guests.
