  • Madame Tussaud Scenerama

  • Meet present and past in the heart of Amsterdam. One entire floor is devoted to daily life in Amsterdam's Golden Age.   • Scheepvaartmuseum

  • The Maritime Museum houses one of the finest collections of its kind in the world. It includes splendid authentic ship models as well as many charts, navigation instruments, weapons, flags and paintings. At the museum's pier you can see a full-size replica of the 18th Century Dutch East India Company Ship, The Amsterdam and even step on board and see what life was like on a ship then.   • Van Gogh Museum

  • Vincent Van Gogh is one of the best known of Dutch painters. The Van Gogh Museum has over two hundred of his paintings.   • Volendam and Marken

  • Windmills, Zaanse Schans and Edam

  • A century ago Holland had 9,000 windmills, only 945 remain. Their size and shape differs according to the job they do: pump water, saw lumber or grind grain.
