The Bugenstock Park Hotel is sityated in the heart of central Switzerland, atop a mountain penninsula, high above Lake of Lucerne. Almost the whole mountain is covered with forests, fields and gardens. The Park Hotel is a part of one of the largest hotel properties in Switzerland, 20 minutes from Lucerne and 60 minutes from Zurich, easy to reach by car, by boat (transfer across the Lake), private funiculaire and even by helicopter. In addition to the overwhelming panoramic view, five restaurants and a wide range of sports and leisure facilities await the Park Hotel's guests, including the hotel-owned 9-hole golf course and the famous Burgenstock Club Spa and Health Centre: Wonderful paths invite for walking and jogging, in- and outdoor pool, sauna, steambath and massages invite for relaxing. The Park Hotel provides 44 Junior suites and 14 Double rooms with every comfort and dreamlike views of the Lakes and the peaks of the Alps. A traditionally high standard of service (room service, laundry, & valet service, concierge, currency exchange as well as the well known Bugenstock Infrastructure with shops, newsstand, hairdresser, beauty salon, embroidery,...) meet every guest's experiences. Excellently equipped meeting rooms within a beautiful natural surrounding create the ideal setting for seminars, training courses and conferences, numerous programs atop Burgenstock and excursions in the surroundings make the resort world-renowned and attractive for incentive groups. The very sunny and suitable climate averages at a temprature of 24 degrees celsius in summertime. Park Hotel was built in 1991, and has an elegant ambiance, based on Swiss tradition, many fine wood works. Famous art collection in public rooms, The famous Chapel where Audrey Hepburn married in 1954. Famous panoramic outdoor elevator leading to the peak of Resort Hotel owned Nostalgic Funiculaire. The resort opened in 1873, and the golf course was built in 1928. * Hotel Renovations The hotel will be closed for total renovations in order to satisfy our guests' needs. The hotel and its restaurants - Tintoretto and Le Club - including its bar and wellness club - will closed from 31 October 2006. Reopening is planned for 2010.
