The Melia La Paz is located in the northern town of Puerto de la Cruz. To arrive from the south Reina Sofia airport take the motorway towards the capital Santa Cruz and then continue on the motorway to the north of the island. The same north direction has to be taken if arriving at the north Los rodeos airport. Take the deviation to Puerto de la Cruz indicated on the motorway, follow on 3 kilometres until arriving to the bridge approaching the town via the Botanico road. Take this bridge and further on, about 500 metres, take the first turn to the right (at the first traffic lights you find) and you will find yourself in the residential area of La Paz where the Melia La Paz is situated.
Situated in the residential area of La Paz, 250 metres from the Shopping Center La Cupula and 100 metres from the Botanical Gardens.

National Park " El Teide "
This National Park offers a fascinating landscape, created by the elemental forces of the volcano Teide. Christopher Columbus observed its last great eruption in 1492 from the nearby island Gomera, just before continuing his discovery travel to America. In 1798 there was another smaller eruption. With a height of 3.718 metern the Teide is not only the highest mountain in Spain, but also the highest elevation in all the Atlantic Ocean.
Garachico
Is a small village of unique beauty with a port that once has been the most important at the whole island. Close to it there are beaches of black sand with beautiful natural basins.
La Laguna
Was the island's capital in former times, and has the most important University of Canary Islands.
Orotava
Is an extraordinarily nice town with manorial houses in the island's tradition. Particularly well-known are the Casas de los Balcones, 17th century buildings with those typical balconies of Canarian pine-wood. The best time to visit Orotava is during the celebrations of Corpus Christi, when it is ornamented with innumerable flowers and the streets are covered with earths of six different colors which are found in the surroundings.
