Golf - Championship 6,794 yard layout features some of the region*s most challenging and beautiful holes. Originally designed by acclaimed PGA player/architects Jay Riviere and Dave Marr. The course features tree-lined fairways, waterfalls, fountains, an island tee box, 8 lakes and over 50 sand traps. The scenic 18th hole is considered one of Texas* toughest, and the 6th hole with its three-tiered waterfall and rock bridge is one of the areas* most beautiful. Marina - If you stroll the length of the marina dock, you*ll find yourself in the Marina and Ship*s Store. Here you can rent a boat, water skis, a wave runner or equipment for your favorite water activity. With slips for 300 vessels of various sizes, the Del Lago Marina is Lake Conroe*s most popular boating center! Del Lago offers guests multiple choices when it comes to recreation and relaxation services. Reservations for spa services, tennis, basketball courts or assorted sports equipment rentals can be made directly with the Health Spa and Fitness Center. Adjacent to the 21-story Del Lago tower lies a beautiful, private white sand beach. This secluded horseshoe-shaped cove on Lake Conroe, is over 2,000 feet long. Shopping, food and fun for the whole family! George Bush Presidential Library and Museum: The tenth presidential library administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. The library and museum contain the primary sources documenting President Bush*s long public career. Museum patrons can experience the unique influences and challenges that formed George Bush's life and presidency. The library is located on the Texas A and M University campus in College Station, Texas. Renaissance Festival: Held for six weekends in the fall beginning the first weekend in October and ending the second weekend in November. Thousands of people gather each year to eat, drink and make merry as people did in Medieval England. So mark your calendar for this event. A 25 minute drive from Del Lago, the festival is located on FM 1774 northwest of Magnolia.
